CBASS Summer school visits
The Art Business course provides a combination of theoretical and practical study. Centred around your aspirations, there are opportunities to identify relevant roles for yourself within an evolving landscape, and to consider creative enterprise in its broadest form. You should also mention your future plans – if you’re planning to take a year out, don’t forget to give your reasons. Talk about any subjects you’re studying that don’t have a formal assessment and any sponsorships or placements you’ve applied for.
The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award. Through the course so far, I’ve been able to perfect a television pitch within my content development module. I’ve also had the opportunity to produce several projects, including an as-live studio gameshow in one of the facilities’ TV studios! You’ll experience creative production, develop business and technical skills and explore key areas of theory from entrepreneurial leadership, management, and financial, to legal and technical topics, drawing on high-profile case studies.
